A short excerpt of DEAD AIR. Ca. 6 minutes (Total length: 17 min).

DEAD AIR is a sci-fi radioplay about looking for purpose and connection at the end of the world.
A lone radio show host produces a new episode of his pirate radio show "Dead Air" every day, in which he talks about the weather (unforgiving and dangerous) and his dreams (strange and melancholic), and listens through old, rejected call-ins to the show to give advice to the dead. Reality and dream blend together, and the listener is invited to reflect on time, archived media, and the purpose of creating. Who does the host produce his show for, if everyone is dead? Is it for himself, or for anyone who might still be out there? What role does the listener play, and what influence might they have on the way the story is told?
Above, you can listen to a small excerpt of the piece. Contact me for the whole thing!
